What is Hawaiian Street Food?

It is a melting pot of several cultures…Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Portuguese. Some of the menu options are Pork Belly Bao Buns, Rib-Eye Bulgogi, Korean Short Ribs, Huli Huli Chicken Tacos, Ahi Tuna Poke, and Japanese Fried Chicken with Sriracha-Bacon Aioli. I will also have a lot of options for vegans/vegetarians like Togarashi Edamame with Garlic-Ginger Ponzu or Japanese Fried Jackfruit Bao Bun with Mongolian BBQ & Pickled Cucumbers Namasu. Where can I find Prevail Food Truck?

We will be serving to the public at breweries, farmers markets, and festivals here in Eastern North Carolina within a two hour radius from Greenville.  So yes we will go to Raleigh.  We will post our location and schedule on Facebook/Instagram at prevailfoodtruck. What catering events are good for a Vintage Food Truck?

Food truck catering is great for small weddings, rehearsal dinners, mile-stone birthday parties, graduations, apartment complexes, retirement parties, holiday parties, office parks, and late-night snack station for bigger events like at the end of the night of your big magical wedding before your guest go home. It’s a nice farewell with a vintage food truck with tasty treats. 

Can Prevail food truck do a buffet, stations, family style, or small formal sit downs?

 Besides the classic “order at the window” option, we are able to do appetizers stations, buffet, or family style/sit down dinners. Also drop off or pick up catering options are available. 

Do you offer tastings?

Yes, tastings are limited to parties of 4. We charge a $200 flat rate for each tasting. 

What is your catering service area?

We will serve catering events throughout Eastern NC starting from Greenville, NC within a two hour travel radius. Travel fees does not apply to local events here in Greenville or Winterville.

Outside of Greenville/Winterville:
50 guests: $75/hour of travel
75 guests: $100/hour of travel
100 guests: $125/hour of travel
125 guests: $150/hour of travel


Can you park in my backyard?

 If the ground is level and firm enough, yes. However, please a be aware of the weight of the truck is 14,000 pounds, if you have a septic system or in ground sprinkler systems, we are not responsible for damage. 

When is my final guest count due?

Two week’s prior to your party.

Will the food truck fit in my driveway? What are the truck dimensions?

14 feet high, 8 feet wide, and 26 feet long.

Is there a service charge? And is that separate from gratuity?

We add an 18% service charge, which covers additional servers if needed for catering. Also the gratuity is separate. 

Does the customer need to provide plates, napkins, and utensils?

When serving from the truck, we provide disposable serving dishes. When serving hors d’oeuvres, we us our trays, which some clients choose to replace with their own serving platters. 

Is there a minimum for your catering vintage food truck service?

During the week (Monday – Thursday) the minimum is $800 and the weekend’s (Friday & Saturday) minimum is $1,200. However there isn’t a minimum for public sales at breweries, farmers market, and festivals. 

When do you need a deposit vs. full payment?

50% deposit to secure event and payment in full two weeks prior to your party.

* If the event is cancelled 30 days or more prior to the event, full deposit will be refunded. 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and checks. Credit cards payments require a 3% processing fee.
